In the Midwest trees have seasons. Just like humans we live in seasons. Sometimes we need to ground, integrate or expand. Be like a tree and enjoy your season.
Danielle: We can be like a tree in all the seasons. She says we need to integrate new habits, new ways of action. To expand and grow into your highest potential, your north star, your highest intention. See if it's foundation, integration and expansion.
Hey, everyone. Danielle joking in here. And let's talk about how to be like a tree. Now, I teach a lot of yoga. Yoga. Yoga specifically. And we teach tree pose. And tree pose is 1ft on the ground. The other foot balances on the calf or the inner thigh or can kickstand on the ankle, your hands at your heart. You can stay here, you can grow your arms up like branch branches, like a tree. Now, tree, right, has roots. And when I speak to tree, I speak at the beginning of the class first setting an intention for the class, like peace, love, compassion, strength.
Just the place to be in intention is powerful. So you take that pose, tree pose, the physical pose, and think, imagine roots growing into the earth because creating roots deep into the soil, like creating that solid foundation, even just like pulling energy and resource from mother Earth because there's infinite wealth of resources and energy from mother earth if you call upon it. And then feeling sturdy in your trunk, you push your foot into your leg, your leg into your foot. And that allows you to feel sturdy to grow your branches up into the sky, father sky, towards the sun and get energy again from the.
The sun and light branches. You can pull energy and turn your leaves to the sunlight and. And we can be like a tree in all the seasons. If you live here in the midwest, that, yes, your leaves will change color, right? There's change. It's like you're not. The tree isn't freaking out if the leaves change color. It's just like I'm embracing the colors of my new leaves, and then the leaves fall, right? And it's like, oh, no, not freaking. You don't see trees running around freaking out about this. And the leaves fall and then it's winter and the tree is sturdy and stable, and then it grows buds again, and there's little buds and new leaves come.
And, like, I believe we all go through seasons like such, like grounding down, creating new buds, new expansions, new integrations, new ways of being. And then at times, we need to release and let go and change. And then sometimes it's just like hibernation, like I'm just gonna hunker down and stay here to recalibrate, reintegrate. Who am I now? Cause a lot of times when we change, it's like I am this now new me. And it's like, how do I be this now new me through change, through that inward journey.
It takes something so it's powerful to just pause and reflect and not have to do so much because you're actually doing a lot by growing as a human being up to your highest potential, lining up to that north Star for you, letting go of habits and situations that don't serve you anymore. It takes something. So sometimes just taking a pause and hibernating like a tree is needed. And then again, buds will come, you'll find your groove again, you'll grow, you'll expand and be in your full expression.
So I believe these birds are powerful with the tree foundation, your foot, your roots, integration, feeling sturdy and your balancing of your trunk, your stability. Integrate, integrate, integrate to expansion. To expand and grow into your highest potential, your north star, your highest intention, whatever it be for you. So yes, I believe we can be like a tree. What season are we in? Do we need to ground, do we need roots? To create a new solid foundation column Mother Earth. We need to integrate new habits, new ways of action, new ways of being.
Do we need it? Really integrate those into who you are at your core. Values, missions, statements, visions, statements. And then to expand and expansion is living it out. The actually real life happening. How do we see it happening? What vehicles are you using for your values, your mission, your visions, your purpose? To be lived out. So see how you can be like a tree. Enjoy the season you're in. See if it's foundation, integration and expansion. And just enjoy. Questions? Let me know. My name is Danielle.
Have a blessed day.
