Danielle Jokonen checking in again on that bedtime routine. Have restful sleep, having consistent sleep can really set you up. Are you remembering your dreams? Can you say affirmations at sleep? Have a blessed night.
Hello everyone. Danielle Jokonen here, checking in again on that bedtime routine. Back at it again. It's in eastern time, we have or Minnesota time, we have a good time to go to bed between ten and eleven. Maybe go to bed earlier. Good for you. And looking at the rule of 3210, they say 3 hours before bed, do not eat any food, give your digestive time, some break. Two, no more work. 2 hours before bed, no more working, letting your mind relax, unwind from the workday one, no more screen times. 1 hour before bed.
Can you read a book, can you play a game, do a puzzle, tidy up the house, talk to somebody, be in conversation, journal, what can you do without a screen? And then zero is do not hit snooze the next day. So not hitting the snooze button in the morning. Right. How many of you out there actually like set your alarm, knowing or planning that you're going to hit snooze? So you give yourself like that ten extra minutes or the 20 extra minutes. So yeah, looking at your bedtime routine and hello, is it speak wonder?
Hello, hello, I see you there, checking in on bedtime routines. What can you do that's consistent to help you go to bed? Because having restful sleep, having consistent sleep can really set you up. Your day, your life, your health, your healing, it's a big deal. So just checking in out there and how is your sleep going? Or do we even know? Or another way to check in on it is are you remembering your dreams? Like do you remember your dreams? That's a big one. If you don't remember your dreams, you're not getting enough deep sleep or a long enough deep sleep.
So you can even start with a dream journal as well to help you start remembering your dreams. Even go to bed saying, I remember my dreams in the morning and then start writing them down. So yes, checking in on that bedroom routine. Are you going to bed at a consistent time? Can you do positive things from the day, thinking about what are you looking forward for that's positive for the next day? Saying some affirmations at sleep. I rest and I heal. I'm looking at now today that 3210, rule three, no food 3 hours before bed, two, no work 2 hours before bed and then one, no screens 1 hour before bed and then zero is no hitting snooze the next morning.
Not setting yourself up for that work on just getting up and doing the same thing, like have those affirmations in the morning. It's gonna be a good day. It is a good day. And I'm excited for whatever comes my way. So checking in on that crucial time that's so pivotal. Bedtime and morning time. Have a blessed night.
