Some announcements and request for insights!
Fabulous Mac team has created three regions, North, Metro, and South. Andrea led a process to restructure our organization operationally. Next steps around identifying our site leaders for each of our centers. Also, we're in our board cycle.
We have a new parent newsletter that we send out and it goes out once a month. In this month's newsletter, we're going to be asking parents through a short survey. What are ways that we could continue to strengthen what we currently do and grow into new areas? I'd love to hear from you.
Happy Friday, Fabulous Mac team. Couple of highlights for the week. First of all, hello, Summer Official. Officially, summer. For those of us in Minnesota, it is warm and humid and love these days. At least I do. Personally, I wait for this all year. A second thing importantly, Andrea led a process to restructure our organization operationally. And so what we've created is three regions, North, Metro, and South, and had a process for internal applicants to apply for those new regional operational roles, which we're calling RODS for short.
And so as a result of that process, I'm really excited and Andrea announced this in writing earlier this week that we have our three finalists. So for the Metro, it's Angie. Congratulations, Angie. For the north, it's Brittany. Congrats, Brittany. And for the south, it's Bryn. Congrats, Bryn. So stay tuned for more from Andrea on next steps in terms of the process. And I think she also outlined that in her email. But there'll be next steps around identifying our site leaders for each of our centers.
So we're making really nice progress there. So that's another important point I wanted to make. Also, we're in our board cycle. We meet quarterly as a board. So this week we had our finance committee meeting and next week we have our board meeting. So I'll be able to share more highlights there. But one thing I wanted to mention at the end of the finance committee meeting, Chad, our board chair, pulled a couple of us aside and he said, you know, I have seen the social media post kind of our outreach under Alexis's leadership with Amanda really just exploding.
And so he commented that, complimented the team on that. So if you haven't had a chance to check us out, there's a lot going on on the socials. I think I sounded really corny saying that I think my kids would have rolled their eyes. But anyways, you know what I mean. So take a peek if you haven't had a chance to do that already. We're proud to share what we're doing and definitely commenting on lots of highlights in the both locally going on nationally, including important events. So please take a look at that.
And then I have a question for you all today. If you could please share thoughts in the comment section. We have a new parent newsletter that we send out and it goes out once a month. And in this month's newsletter, we're going to be asking parents through a short survey, letting them know we're working on our strategic plan for the next three to five years and we want to hear from them what's going well, what services would they like to see more of? How could we enhance the support that we're already providing?
And so I would ask you, because you're closest and have these parent conversations a lot, what are you hearing? That are ways that we could continue to strengthen what we currently do and grow into new areas. So please share. I'd love to hear from you. All right. Take good care. Thanks for all you do.
