Take time to sit. From this space of a new awareness you can accept things as they are and as they are not. Nothing to do about it. Just be in the space of acceptance.
Danielle: Today we do a meditation on the left and the right side of the body. Can you connect what came up for you? Is the breath short? Does the mind wander? Find acceptance in that. Notice if the sensation passes or stays.
I invite you to journal. Maybe what came up for you, what you are aware of and then what you accept. Tomorrow we will meditate on a new awakening. Questions, comments, feedback? Let me know.
Welcome. And Danielle here going on continuation from yesterday on a meditation. The left side of your torso, the right side of your torso, your neck, the front of your neck, the back of your neck, your left arm and right arm. Your cheeks, back of the head, crown of your head. And yesterday we did a meditation on the left and the right side of the body. So first off, tune again. Experience just the left side of your body, maybe experience what's open, what's closed, from the foot to your arm to the left side of your head.
Experience the right side of your body, from your foot to your right arm to the right side of your head. Let's open what's closed, what's rigid, what's loose and then connecting to the left and the right side of your body from your spine line, from tailbone to crown of your head. Can the left and right side of your body connect what came up for you? What's here for you? Is the breath short? Does the mind wander? And it's really looking at thoughts as they come in. It's like a cloud going through the sky.
Notice the cloud and let it pass. And if something feels stuck, a thought, a worry, a concern, even just a sensation in the body, you make it mean something. What's like rolling over on a hamster wheel? Find acceptance in that. Accept the situation, the thing, the person, the experience, as it is and as it is. Not just fully radical acceptance. There's nothing to do, there's nothing to change, there's nothing to figure out about this insert thing. Can you sit and be with your breath, your body, the situation, for whatever arises, let it arise and be in acceptance with it.
Radical acceptance. Maybe the sensation passes, maybe it stays, maybe it gets stronger. Feel into it, breathe into it. Then maybe on the exhale it passes, maybe it subsides. Breathe more, deeper into that sensation. Exhale again. Nothing to do, nothing to fix. Let it be just that, a sensation and a blessing. That you do get to feel, right? That you do get to feel and that consider that this is here to help you, this thing, the situation, this experience, this person is your best teacher. And out of this situation, only good will come.
Only good will come. Notice if the sensation passes or stays. Breathe from tailbone to crown of your head. Inhale and exhale. Breathe out from crown of head to tailbone. Again, radical acceptance. Couple more breaths just to let the sensation subside. Maybe it passes. Give yourself the gift to feel, the gift to feel sensation as it is and as it is, not. As you are and as you are not already whole, and complete three more breaths just to stay in that acceptance. Notice the shift, just the shift of energy.
Bring your hands to heart center and Anjali Mudra connecting right hand to left hand. Being aware of this now moment of being in the space of acceptance of the situation. And it's just sensation. And your best teacher. Take a deep breath in. Exhale out. Good work. I invite you to journal. To journal. Maybe what came up for you, what you are aware of and then what you accept. Just journal. Get pen to paper, see what you can get access to, see what you want to maybe even release through journaling.
Power of meditation just gets you access and get familiar with what is happening in the now moment. Questions, comments, feedback? Let me know. Tomorrow we will meditate on a new awakening. Be well, be loved.
