Let's focus on more love not less. That can be great and all and can there ever be too much love? Maybe ... maybe when we can give it to ourselves? Or maybe when love looks like a boundary.
Danielle Jokonen: Love, to me is the answer. Love over fear, love over hate. It's really loving without expectation or doing the thing with love without expectation. With more love, with pure intention, with no expectations, and filling your cup up first with love and maybe boundaries.
Hello, Danielle Jokonen here, talking about love now. I always like to speak on love. Love, to me is the answer. Love over fear, love over hate. And it can also be very exhausting. In a simple word, maybe. And though it's getting to the root of what is your intention behind the loving action, love always wins. Yes. And along the journeys, like, are you loving to get something back in return or expectations or not giving love to yourself primarily because it needs to start with you first. Gotta give a whole lot of love to yourself first.
And then you can just infinitely let your, like, love well, your well of love flow over to other people from a pure intention of love, of giving, of standing in love. Not to, not just to give love to return, to get something in return, to like, expect something. Okay. If I love this person, I expect them to love me back. It's really loving without expectation or doing the thing with love without expectation. That's when love is the answer. And a lot of times we can think, oh, just give more love, give more love.
But also love can look like boundary. It can also be saying, no. Love doesn't always have to be just doing or saying yes to the thing, to the person. So it can look a lot of different ways. And sometimes I believe we learn what love is not. We experience love in a relationship or with an organization to understand actually what love is. So it's a big word. Yeah, it's an action. Love in action. What does it look like? What does it feel like? But is it the answer? To me? Yes, always. Love wins, though.
It's really looking at what is your intention behind loving or doing the loving action. If we have expectations from, if we do this, I get this. It doesn't usually sit right. Or if we're trying to give love and our love cup, our well is not full, doesn't have any love to give, actually. We're gonna get burnt out and other people are gonna actually feel that. So love is the answer with a pure intention and loving yourself first. And sometimes it's putting up boundaries because boundaries also is love like to say, there's three things that keep kids need.
And I say mostly with kids, love is the answer. Like quieting down, regulating your nervous system, standing back in your love. Then you can be for a kid. But kids need nurturing, they need to feel safe, they need boundaries or limits. They actually need to have those limits of like, where do they stop? Where is this end point? Or actually, when you say no, you actually follow through those with the say, okay, if you do that, one more time, I'm gonna take the tv remote away like they do it. And you actually take the tv remote away like there's a limit.
And then words of affirmation, I am so proud of you. I love you. When you give your sibling a hug, like I love, there's ways to give those words of affirmation of not just being like, you're good. Like, then we have to be a good kid or a perfect, or only giving them words of affirmation when they do something correct. It's like, encourage all the times of just trying and doing so. And why I say kids is because actually, in adult world, if we have wounds, and most of us do, is we are operating from our wounds from five, from eight years old.
So we actually are just kids in adult bodies. So I have an opportunity to help the kids at a young age and also help and support our loved ones as well. With more love, with pure intention, with no expectations, and filling your cup up first with love and maybe boundaries. Questions on this? Let me know. My name is Danielle. Go fill your love tank up first and then go give it away with no expectations. Have a good day.
