How to listen to your inner voice and take action on it. Your inner voice is always speaking. Tune in, listen and take action for your highest good!
Danielle: How to trust your inner voice? She says first, get connected to nature. Get present. Meditate. Connect to another human life. The biggest thing you can do is with your kids.
Danielle joking in here, talking about how to trust your inner voice or how to listen for it, because it's actually there all the time. Example. So yesterday I was home after a long weekend of teaching yoga in upper Peninsula, Michigan. Super fun. Connected with a great group of people. And I was home with my kid, Charlie, and helping him get ready for the day. First off, change, diaper, clothes, breakfast, right? So we're in the kitchen, and I play some songs. I found some toddler songs, and it was like, shake, shake, shake your wiggles out.
Shake, shake, shake your wiggles out. Super fun. And I get into that stuff because why the heck not? It's a great way to shift energy, though, when I'm in that space of flow, of releasing, of just pure joy, simplicity, connection. Like connecting with my kid on a simple song or a simple dance. Like, that's. That's true connection. That's presence, right? So when you're in the state of presence, insights, inner knowings, wisdoms come in, and that's the space where you can hear, right? That voice is quiet, though.
You can. It can be loud, and you can get better at the practice of hearing it. It's the truth. And so something told me to send this song to Devin, right? But I send it to the whole group. The whole group, a group of teacher, cohort. And so I sent the song. This is for Devin and everyone. Enjoy your beautiful day. So because Devin, his new intention this last week was joy and movement, and it just seemed silly for him because he's just this great human bundle of silliness, and sent it. And then after a while, the whole group was saying, oh, Devon, happy birthday.
Happy birthday. Now she's like, oh, whoops, did I accidentally put out it was Devin's birthday? And. Or they did. They misread my, my, my text and thought it was his birthday. And then later on, I find out actually, his is his birthday. It was his birthday yesterday. And I was like, wow. I was able to connect to the inner knowing of, it's Devin's birthday. Let's reach out to Devon. Let's send something special to him. And it was his birthday, and I didn't know it. And, like, but you do know, like, that's the thing.
Like, I did know. Like, you do know those inner knowings. And the biggest thing you can do is with your kids. Simple, too. If, like, somebody is thinking about calling you and you think about that person, and then, like, two minutes later, they call you, it's that connection that we all have with everybody, all things specifically, nature. And if you can connect to that, you can trust it. You can listen. What's my next aligned action? Oh, sending Devin this song and saying, have a great day, Devin and everyone.
And then it's like, oh, it's Devin's beauty birthday. And then Devon's day is made, right? So it's like listening to that inner voice. How to just start practicing it? I like to say is first, get connected to nature. Get outside, put your feet in the grass, like literally barefoot. See a tree, like, see the tree, see the color. See a bug on the tree. Present. Get present to something. Be with your kids or family or human kind. Connect to another human life. Like really connect heart to heart. That's why it's easier to connect with kids.
Because kids are just connected. They are present up to the age about six or seven. And then they get more stuck in their own stories. Just like we, as we grow up. Present. Get present. Connect to nature. Meditate. Be in the space of stillness. Like, listen for the space of the year between. Because we can get so stuck in our thoughts, our thinking that hearing the inner voices actually isn't even possible. So try that on for size. Let me know what you think. Listen to that inner voice and then take an action on it.
It could be just like I'm guided to go to this store to buy this book, right? It could be simple as that. Or it could be guided to. I'm going to call this person, trust your inner voice. See how you can make it become louder and louder and louder questions. Let me know. Have a blessed day. My name is Danielle.
