Hello? Hello, Danielle here talking about sleep and our sleep routine. And it says, like the 30 minutes of right before you go to bed really set your night up either for success or failure. So really look at what are you doing before bed? Are you on your phone? Are you doing work, thinking, studying, not bad or wrong. It's just how do you want your body to actually really heal? Heal as well, primarily your brain and your body. And it's really important for the body to get into a deep, deep delta brainwave sleep.
It's light sleep, then it gets to delta, and then you can go to REm sleep. But in that delta wavelength, your body can heal on a subconscious level and most importantly, also dream. Because in our dreams, we process, we go through events that have happened currently and in the past and helps us process our life. Sleeping is so important. Albert Einstein says you can sleep your way to our sharper mind, and he was very focused on getting 10 hours of sleep every night. And they say you need about one to 2 hours of delta brainwave rest to get the benefits of the deep, deep healing.
So what are you doing before you go to bed? Are you actually even sleeping? Do you wake up a lot or are you fidgeting? Like I say, you go to bed, but then you're like two inches hovering off the mattress. Are you able to really relax your body, your mind, your heart, your spirit, really get that deep, deep healing on a subconscious level? So important. Sleep. What is your sleep routine? And do something consistent, like for my daughter, right. It's always bath, brush teeth, books, bed. And it can be simple.
It doesn't have to be a lot, but if you set up a couple things to do right before bed, it could be journal. Journal is very powerful. Gratitude lists, write through things you're grateful for. Sometimes even going backwards in your day helps you fall asleep, too, of like what events happened helps for a sharper mind as well. So says something up. Simple? It could be. I really like journaling. That's my go to thing is journaling. I have a gratitude journal. And then sometimes it's lotion. I really like lavender oil.
That helps me sleep at night as well. So look at your bedtime routine. Maybe start adding in one thing. m. Is where I'm going. m. Right here is time for bed. So set up bedtime time and just stick to it, see what happens. And it could be adding one thing, journaling for five minutes, meditating for two minutes or. Yeah. Rubbing some lotion on your feet with lavender oil. Help you sleep. Start there. Start simple and see what happens with your health. Be well, Danielle. Joking in here.
