Maybe we should ask why more often. Five year olds are really good at it. Take time and ask yourself - Why am I in this relationship? Why do I work at my current job? Why do I love this food? Why do I wake up in the morning? Take time journal and see what comes up!
Danielle Yad, yoga teacher, yoga creator, coach, and talking about the question why? A lot of times we don't know why? Because they can be an already automatic happening activity. Ask yourself why? Questions, journal on it.
Danielle joking in here, yoga teacher, yoga creator, coach, and talking about the question why? Right? Think about if you have kids or talk to people who have kids. And how many times was it the age, I don't know, three, four, five. My six year olds, almost seven year old still asks this a lot, is why? Why, why, why? Again, even though you answer the question, there's another why? And then we stop asking why? Because we think we know lots of things. And you do as you age, a lot of times through growing up, you stop, we stop asking that question, why?
Why am I doing this? What's my intention here? Why do I go to this school? Well, why do I go to this job? Why do I have this friend? Why am I in this relationship? Why am I doing this activity? A lot of times we don't know why? Because they can be an already automatic happening activity, friend situation. Again, it goes back to what do you want to have happen in your life? And are your actions lining up with that desired outcome? And even the things that we do can be a habit that keeps you small, keeps you stuck, self sabotages yourself.
So go back, sit down. Maybe at the end of the day, why did I do this? Why did I call this friend? Why am I acting this way? Why am I choosing this restaurant? Why am I doing this thing? Yeah, it takes something to look, but it's a really powerful activity. Why? Why? Why? So be with that. Ask yourself why? Questions, journal on it. I would love to hear some feedback and have a blessed rest of your day. My name is Danielle Yad, yoga creator, yoga teacher, coach. Be well.
