Navigating divorce can feel overwhelming, but breaking it down into manageable steps can help. I share a simple approach: commit to completing just three steps a day—whether it’s paperwork, scheduling meetings, or organizing finances. Equally important, remember to do one kind thing for yourself daily. Whether it’s a walk, a favorite book, or a moment of mindfulness, nurturing yourself helps you stay grounded through the process. Small, consistent actions create momentum and support emotional well-being during this life transition.

Hi, I'm Megan Miller and I have recently been divorced and so we're here to talk about that. And I might pop on a few other times to share my journey because I have had friends, people stop into my studio and talk about the bittersweetness of the process and it can be really hard. One thing I did, I was always wanting to get out of the house, so I started painting. So there is sometimes beauty in hard situations and it's tricky. I met with someone yesterday, an old friend, and she just gave me the update and so we talked and how do we get through this?
And I found people along the way that I trusted and shared my story with. And then I wove parts of how they got divorced into my story. And it is a journey. And also I, I met, I made some really amazing new friends along the way. In one thing, one tip, I'll. I will say what worked for me. It wasn't my tips, it was a friend of mine, it's my hairdresser because that's who you talk to sometimes, you know, you find people. And she said do three things a day and just pick away at it because it can be really overwhelming and that can go to anything in your life.
I still sometimes do the three things a day in my business, in my personal life and then. But three things a day, businessy, make a phone call, find an attorney or you know, just make it easy too. Don't make it too hard. And then also put one fun thing on the list. I used to go and I found a coffee shop and I would get myself coffee and journal and it felt really good. And I also ended up meeting some people there, just some friends and along the way, so trying to turn in the struggle into something that can be helpful.
Good luck.
