Fabulous Mac team wanted to give you a couple highlights from this past week. Senior leadership team walking through enterprise goals. We helped do soft launch to our big fundraising event, which will be this September. Third area that we focused on was our legislative update.
Happy Friday. Fabulous Mac team wanted to give you a couple highlights from this past week. We had our senior leadership team together yesterday, which is an incredibly capable group walking through our enterprise goals. And one of our goals is to be the employer of choice. And so we focused on the employee engagement survey results, which puts us at a negative 8 for our net promoter score. So that's our baseline. And now we're taking all of the input from all of you, and each of our senior leaders is gonna be doing some focus groups to probe and listen and learn even more about what we can do to improve and make this a place where you can thrive.
And so expect those next steps from your senior leaders. They'll be then turning those into action plans and we'll start to just prioritize and say, we're going to address this first, this second, this third, finish that list, go on to the next. So that's really exciting. So expect that. Second thing is we, Alexis, helped do our soft launch to our big fundraising event, which will be this September. It'll culminate in September, but we'll be working together on it over the summer, which is called Shine for Mac.
So look for more information on that. That's going to be a fun event to both reach out into the community, raise money, and it'll end up with a day at all of our centers where we bring families in and community members and have some fun. So I'm really excited about what's in store for us. The third area that we focused on was our legislative update and Jen Diedrich, who's just been representing us so incredibly well in our membership organization atmosphere and has been actively working at the state level around the language with the EIDBI benefit and the need to make sure that we prevent bad, bad actors from doing fraud, waste and abuse and ensuring that we can continue to have good access to our program.
So she's at the center of this, representing us incredibly well. Nothing is finalized yet, as you may know if you're following our local and state news, but when we have more information, she will be sharing it on our behalf.
