At the state level, we have a budget and an omnibus bill that passed. From a budget perspective, we did not have a decrease in funding. We'll continue to keep our eye on the federal level, excuse me, and any potential cuts to the Medicaid cuts.
First in our new season of Pillar award winners. Kehlani Stanley nominated for Compassion, Collaboration, Integrity, Inclusivity, Progress and Joy. This is a busy month for us, so it's Pride Month, month of June. And stay tuned for more highlights on events throughout the month.
Hello, fabulous Mac team. Happy Friday. A couple of highlights for the week. One we have at the state level, you may have followed the news. We have a budget and an omnibus bill that passed and from a budget perspective, we did not have a decrease in funding, which is really good news for us. On the omnibus bill side, there are elements, as we know, tied to eidbi. And so our team, there was a lot of back and forth at the last minute. So Jen and Michael and our ATAM colleagues are going to go line by line and let us know exactly what that means for us.
And again, really the intent around that was to make sure to root out bad actors. So trying to strike that balance between making sure there's no fraud, waste and abuse in our space and also making sure that we limit access to our needed services. So more to come on that on the financing side of that, again, a positive pass for us at the state level and we'll continue to keep our eye on the federal level, excuse me, and any potential cuts to the Medicaid cuts that are being proposed as that continues throughout the summer and into the fall.
So wanted to give that quick update there. The next thing I wanted to highlight was that we have our first in our new season of Pillar award winners. And so they are in our north region, Kehlani Stanley nominated for Compassion, Collaboration, Integrity, Inclusivity, Progress and Joy. Basically all of our values. She's a BT in Duluth. So congratulations. In our metro region it's McKenna Brown and she also was nominated for all of the Mac values and she's a CCT at Vadnais Heights. And then in our south region, it's Amanda Hake or Hike.
Apologize if I just said your last name wrong. She also is nominated for all of the Mac values and she's a CC and Hutch. So congratulations. That is just fantastic. And we will hear more. We'll do special separate videos to go into even more detail on the attributes and why they were nominated and ultimately selected by our senior leadership team. So congratulations again. And then I also just wanted to give a shout out to our DE and I committee. And again, that's a group of individuals who from every level within Mac focused on actively promoting a safe, inclusive and healthy environment for everyone involved with the company.
And this is a busy month for us, so it's Pride Month, month of June. And we also have Juneteenth coming up this next week. So lots of activity going on and just grateful for our team for all they do. And stay tuned for more highlights on events throughout the month. And then I wanted to conclude with just a shout out to all the dads on our team and wish you a happy Father's Day. That's really important and special role and hope you are celebrated incredibly well this weekend. All right, Cheers. Take good care, all right?
