Most of the time we know exactly what what we need to do next, so it’s important to find ways to connect to our quiet world within ourselves.
The speaker greets the viewer and briefly announces that she will share her decision tree. This orients the viewer to the video's purpose.
She reflects on consulting friends and family and explains how their loving but biased perspectives—beliefs, fears, and experiences—can be unhelpful. This explains why she developed a different approach.
She presents her practice for making decisions: open the question, go outside, move your body, and sit in quiet listening to see what arises. These steps offer a simple method to access inner clarity without external opinions.
She mentions her coaching services to help people make decisions creatively without imposing her opinions, encourages reconnecting with curiosity and wonder, and then thanks the viewer. This wraps up the video and provides a next step for interested viewers.
Good morning. How are you? I am sharing my decision tree with you this morning. I used to spend a lot of time talking to my mom and my friends and people that I love about decisions that I needed to make. And they came from a loving place, but they also infused their beliefs and sometimes fears and insecurities and life experiences. And I realized that that's not always helpful. So I've created a practice of when I need to figure something out, opening it up, going outside, moving my body. That's like the number one thing.
and being open and really listening and being really quiet with yourself and see what comes in. I also am a coach. I would love to work with you on creative ways of making decisions without my opinions. Just offering some ways to open up to your curiosity and natural wonder. Thank you.
