There we go. Hello, Cadre. It's me, Dr. D. I do have coffee, but I'm on the go. It's right here. And let me tell you about this cup of coffee today. For some reason, it did not taste the way I expected it to, so I haven't even had a real good sip today. But that's all right. I'm here. If I'm looking a little tired, it's because I have had unusual morning. Like my day is just not going as planned, but it actually has been like there's like little surprises in it that have been really cool. So I love the fall.
I love this time of year. So this is the time where I love just kind of looking at the trees and the different colors that that bloom and kind of guessing like what color is that tree going to be? And so I had a chance this morning to drive through like a trail kind of that I didn't even know existed. Like my GPS just took me route and it was really beautiful. So it was like a beautiful surprise this morning. But it's not what we're talking about today. So I do want to just kind of look at some moments of gratitude.
This is a time of year where I've learned the importance of slowing down. This Just kind of taking a moment to breathe and reflect. And I like to reflect often, but this is the time of year where I can do it intentionally. And I have noticed that I was able to reflect on some of my friends. so I want to talk about the gratitude and it's kind of the inventory of who's in my roster that's been there for a long time and so one of those people me since I was 18 years old. I remember the first day I met her and it was a really interesting relationship.
She didn't stay at my school long. Like we didn't finish school together, but she stayed part of my life and I actually just met her last weekend. I think it was last weekend. Yeah, last weekend or two weekends. And the reason why I'm so grateful for that relationship is this is an individual who has known me during a time where I was just kind of discovering myself. Get 18 first time away from home, first time out on my own. and really discover world and she part of that but she's also someone who's in there and is in my life today and I love that she serves as a mirror for me where she can see me, like she sees parts of me that a lot of people have not seen because she's seen growth in my life and she's still there.
She should see show up for me. That's a tongue twister. And so grateful for that friend. And she's one people and let me know if this is something ever think to do. So what is moments of, I guess, self doubt or when I'm. self-reflection and really needing like a heart check is what call it where I want to know am I being am I showing up the way that I
