Feeling a “meh” lately? Join me as we explore simple, practical ways to boost your mood and shake up your routine and bring some excitement back into your life… including dating!
Michelle opens the livestream, introduces her role as a dating coach, and explains she'll focus on quick ways to feel 'jazzed up' when you're feeling meh. This orients viewers to the video's casual, tips-driven format.
She shows her ice roller, explains daily use and benefits, then demonstrates a grape-water face spray and describes how these two quick steps boost energy without caffeine. Viewers can try these simple products to feel more awake before a date or meeting.
Michelle talks about carrying items like eye patches and how she uses them during walks, driving, or even workouts to refresh under-eye appearance. These small, portable rituals are presented as fast confidence-boosters when you're feeling low.
She links feeling 'meh' to dating behaviors and shows a vagus nerve oil routine (behind ears, wrists) plus nasal breathing to calm and energize. This segment gives viewers quick, practical ways to steady nerves before a date or conversation.
Michelle recommends a collagen cream for a lively complexion and a sheer lip gloss to add color and confidence. She also reminds viewers that taking a nap is fine and that these superficial touches can help motivate you to get out the door.
For deeper or longer lulls she recommends seeking new activities, wellness events, or a modest shopping treat to break routines and reintroduce excitement. Michelle stresses balance and self-awareness, and encourages trying something even if you don't initially feel like it.
She closes by sharing that she already feels more energized, invites comments about viewers' own tips, and gives where to follow her (Cadre, TikTok, Instagram) plus a radio appearance plug. This offers ways to connect and follow up on the advice.
Hello, cadre. Good morning. I am Michelle from Unstuck by Michelle. I am a dating coach here to talk everything dating. However, today we're going to take a little twist and talk about how to feel a little jazzed up when you're feeling meh. I just decided to do this live stream 10 minutes ago because this morning I'm just feeling a little like, you know when you wake up and you're feeling like you woke up in the middle of running asleep and you just like can't waken up. and you feel a little meh.
So I wanted to just come on here and talk about like what I plan to do, what is helpful for me. And maybe you can try some of these things. I brought some of my favorite products and things that help me kind of improve my mood and just bring a little more energy. Sorry, where sitting's not super comfortable. Okay, I needed to cross my legs. So I have my ice roller right here. Oh, this is something I do every single morning when I wake up. I did it this morning, but I didn't have a lot of time. I had to wake up pretty early and go teach a workout class.
And so I don't feel like I got enough time with my roller. And I got some Botox last night. You can kind of see. So just being really gentle. But this is something when you're feeling meh that you can just grab and use, right? So an ice roller, literally, I have no investment in selling you this product. It is just amazing. I use it every day. And when I'm feeling tired, going into a meeting, it is just a great thing to help you feel a little jazzed up. Now, other things I do when I'm feeling a little meh is I love this stuff.
It's Cod Dedali. I don't know. It's grape water, guys. What does grape water do? It's an antioxidant. I usually spray it on my face after I work out. After I'm in the sun for a while, just as a refresh, it helps clean your skin. But even doing those two things right now, I kid you not, I feel a little more jazzed up. I'm working up the energy to go take my dog on a walk, and I don't want to have caffeine or these things. It's fine, caffeine is fine. But that's not what I want. I want just kind of these natural things.
And so those two things, I feel a little more jazzed up. Now I carry this in my bag everywhere I go. My dog here also makes me feel a little better in life. But other things I do when I'm feeling a little meh is I'm a huge eye patch person. So this is the dermology eye patches. I love these. I put these on every morning, but like I mentioned, this morning I was running tardy to the party. But I grab these and I pop them on my eyes. And these just make me feel a little more awake. They give me a little refreshed feeling under my eyes.
I leave these on for about 10 to 15 minutes. How many did I grab here? Oh, just one. 10 to 15 minutes. And I wear these when I walk my dog. I wear these when I'm driving. I've literally been in the middle of a workout class. And all of a sudden I'll have, I'll look in the mirror, I'm like, oh, I have these on like, yeah, oops. And they just help me feel more jazz. Now, how does all this relate to dating, right? Dating can be tiring. It can be exhausting. We can feel meh. And when we're feeling meh and we have a date, when we're feeling meh and we're chatting with someone on the app, we're quicker to write somebody off.
We maybe want to cancel the date. And so doing like the ice roller, right? Maybe the face spray, putting some eye patches on. I'm also a big fan of, I got this Osseo. I don't know if I say any of these things right. This is a vagus nerve oil. I put it right behind my ears. It smells like, now you have to kind of like the smell. It's like kind of that spa smell, but I put it right behind my ears. Sometimes right here, right here. And I will massage. I'll just massage up towards my ears a little bit.
I'll rub my ears. Usually I do it a lot longer, but I don't think you want to watch me on a live just rubbing my neck. But I put it here. I'll do a little rub right here, right on my wrists, and just kind of put a little pressure. And then I'll go like this on my hands. And I'll find my nasal breathing and just not breathing too deep that your chest is or too much volume where your chest is, but just, and that already like helps me feel more calm. Now again, add 3 minutes to that and that's going to help tremendously.
I know I'm just like throwing all these things at you, but summer Fridays, this is a collagen cream. I love to put this on my neck because I'm 40 years old. And usually I would rub it all around my face. So this is when you're feeling meh, you don't want to go on a date, you're feeling duh, just kind of blah, right? Putting this on, I kid you not, your skin will look like porcelain and you will feel a little better and a little, you just put a thicker slayer on and let it soak in and it just gives you a little more liveliness in your face.
So all of these things and a little bit, I'm a big lip gloss, right? Whenever I'm feeling meh, whenever I'm feeling tired or I'm just like, I throw on some lip color, just a little. This is Sheer Strength Cara brand KARA and you put it on, it just adds a little color to your face. So again, these are all kind of like superficial things, but that can make you just feel a little more energized. So if you have that date tonight, If you're chatting with somebody and you're just feeling like you want to take a nap, first off, take a nap if you want.
Second off, that there are these little things that you can do that just help you to feel a little better, give you a little more energy and help you feel a little more motivated to get out there and do stuff. And so these were kind of quick tricks, right? There's other things if you're kind of stuck in just a lull, right? We've all been in a lull. And there's lots of reasons for it. It was literally if you live in Minnesota, it's been raining the last three days. It's sunny today and it's colder, but there's lots of reasons.
It's darker. We get in lulls, right? And so things that you can also do that takes a little more intention than like running to your fridge and grabbing your ice roller or the eye things, the face spray is you can just try something new. get out and try something, that maybe you're like, I don't even want to go to this, but you go to it because you're trying to get out of the lull and you're trying to get more jazz and smoke back into your life. I don't know what that is. All the time I'm Googling what to do today if I'm single.
Not because I'm single, I'm married, but I do it for my clients. I do it for the people I work with to see what's going on. And there's always stuff out there. The internet is full of information and shocking that can give you what's going on in the community. In Minnesota, it's huge. I always say sauna wrong. Swana, swana. That's not right either. But there's a huge swana. I can't even, there's a huge, I'm just gonna say it the way I say it, sauna community here. There's always wellness events in the Twin Cities here.
And that is a great thing that you can do. On Cadre app, there's tons of people in the wellness community who are always hosting events. I'm 97% sure on the Cadre app, there's a space for events where you can look. If not, there should be. But look for something to do and just get out there, right? Break the pattern of just kind of moping and napping and feeling down. And also a thing that I love to do is I am not often promoting retail therapy because I think that can be a real problem for a lot of people.
And in the same breath, I think sometimes like getting a new shirt or an outfit that makes you feel good and confident can help you to maybe motivate you to go on that date, right? Motivate you to go to that wellness event, motivate you to go to that concert. So kind of that balance of we're always self-awareness, looking into why we're doing things. But if you're not someone who just is always filling your cup with spending, like doing that little treat can help break out of that funk. So I gave you lots of tips and tricks today, lots of little things.
that help me when I'm feeling a little blah. Like I literally said, I jumped onto this because I was feeling like, oh my gosh, I have to walk my dog. I have to do this and that. And then I was like, okay, Michelle, what do you need to do to get up and get out and get going? And I said, first I need to talk to my people on Cadre and that's going to hold me accountable to do all these things. And I already feel better, right? I already feel more jazzed up. I'm ready to walk my dog. Lucky, come here.
a well-trained dog would be right here right now and look up at you and I'd end this condre with it. Oh, oh, he's coming. He's coming. He made it. Lucky sit. He thought about it. So that's what I'm going to do after this. I would love, like if you saw this and you're maybe feeling a little more jazzed or you have some plans and things that you can do to help get out of that meh, please comment. Let me know. Again, I am Michelle with two L's. You can follow me on cadre, on TikTok, on Instagram.
